Procrastination is Debt

Procrastination is a scourge that plagues even those most driven and determined people from time to time. It’s a peculiarly human trait, and one that has plagued our species since time immemorial.

It is a curious phenomenon, this tendency to put off until tomorrow what can be done today. Perhaps it is the seductive allure of relaxation, or the fear of failure, or even the simple fact that there are just too many things to do in too little time.

Whatever the cause, the result is always the same: a sense of unease, a nagging feeling of incompleteness that gnaws away at the soul. It is a debt on the soul that we all share, a debt that can be paid off with a little bit of effort and determination. The key to overcoming procrastination is to break free from its seductive grip and focus on the task at hand.

And once we have accomplished this monumental feat, the feeling of joy and accomplishment that washes over us is like no other. We bask in the warm glow of our success, knowing that we have overcome one of the greatest challenges of the human experience.
